Greece is home to a huge number of beautiful and popular holiday destinations that make it one of the worlds top holiday and travel destinations. From the famous cities of Athens and Thessaloniki, to the various Greek islands found scattered in the Aegean and Ionian seas, visitors to Greece are spoilt for choice.

One part of Greece that is ideal for holidays and vacations throughout the year is that of the Pelion peninsula, located on the east coast of Mainland Greece in the county of Magnesia.

Pelion is the ultimate combination of mountain and sea, and the landscape and scenery that you will find here is second to none. The rich forests and vegetation, combined with the blue and green waters of the Aegean sea and the Pagasitic Gulf make it one of the most beautiful regions in all of Greece.

There are many villages and resorts found all over this magical part of Greece. One of the most famous is the village of Portaria, located on the slopes of Mount Pelion at an altititude of 650 meters. It is just 13km from the city of Volos, and offers visitors the ideal spot from which they can venture out and visit some of the many beautiful parts of the area.

It is here in Portaria that you will find "Annas Home" - a beautiful traditional guesthouse that offers a superb selection of comfortable and traditional accommodation.

Located in a very peaceful and picturesque part of Portaria, "Annas House" offers visitors to this part of Greece the chance to enjoy a true Pelion experience. Set amongst the colourful garden and front yard, there are a total of 5 rooms available, spread over the two floors of the guesthouse.

On the ground floor, there are 2 rooms available. One of the rooms is a double room with lovely views out towards the front yard. The second room is another double but with its own fireplace. On the ground floor of the guesthouse is a common use kitchen that is fully equipped and has a cooker, fridge, oven, coffee maker and a full set of cutlery and crockery.

On the first floor of the guest house there are 3 rooms available. One of these is a single room, whilst the other two rooms are double rooms, one of which has its own fireplace. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, creating a very cosy and comfortable setting for your stay here with us. On the first floor of the guesthouse is a kitchen corner, with a small fridge, coffee maker and cutlery and crockery.
