The town of Ano Volos ( Upper Volos ), is located a short distance away from the main port city of Volos, that is found at the foot of Mount Pelion. Ano Volos is a very beautiful place place on the road to Portaria, and one that provides an ideal setting for your Pelion adventure.

It is here that you will find "Arhontiko Tafilli", a beautiful traditional mansion, that has been completely restored and which now operates as a charming guesthouse, providing an excellent range of comfortable and quality accommodation to visitors to Pelion.

Our traditional mansion is located in a very picturesque and quiet part of the town, and is only a short distance away from the famous villages of Portaria and Makrinitsa. With easy access to and from the city of Volos, we are ideally situated to offer you an excellent Pelion holiday, and to allow you to explore and experience that natural charm and beauty of Pelion.

The Arhontiko Tafilli was originally built in 1891. It has since then been completely renovated, and now operates as a beautiful guesthouse offering comfortable and traditional accommodation. Many of the traditional elements of the mansion remain, and the furnishing and decoration inside offer a fascinating insight into years gone by.

We offer a total of six individual and comfortable rooms, each with its own name and theme. Each of the rooms have been carefully decorated and furnished, creating a very comfortable and cosy setting. All of the rooms are double rooms, though we are also able to add an additional bed to the majority of them.

Each of the rooms have LCD television, autonomy central heating, free wireless internet connection and a safety box. Five of the six rooms have beautiful views of the city of Volos and the blue crystal waters of the Pagasitic Gulf. The comfort of our guests is of great importance to us, and we will do our best to make your stay here with us one that you will cherish and look back on with fond memories.
