It
is known worldwide that Greece, the most beautiful country in
the world, with its unique combination of beauties, the bright
sunshine to lighten them, its clean beaches, its rich culture
to accompany them and a great number of remarkable undertakings,
which exploit and promote Greece's only big industry, TOURISM,
offers everything that its mythological god Zeus defined as hospitality.
It is within this framework, that we would like to present to
you our small family business, which we have created with great
passion, and is located in Argalasti, in Pelion Mountain.
In southeast Pelion, 43 km from the town of Volos and on 260 m
altitude, lies Argalasti village.
With
its paved square, its stone-built belfry, a living proof of
its great orthodox tradition, its romantic beaches and its 1800
inhabitants, Argalasti constitutes the Municipality's capital
and offers: Health Centre, Post Office, ATM machine (the only
one in the area), Fire Brigade.
Our Traditional First Class lodging "AGAMEMNON",
certified with ISO 9001:2000 and THESSALY CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY,
is located a few meters from the village's square and consists
of three (3) refurbished stone-built 18th century traditional
houses, each with the capacity of:
The first house, five (5) twin bed rooms and one apartment. The second, three twin bed rooms with kitchen, dining room, living room and fire place and The third, two studios with small kitchen and fire place. All rooms have central heating, air conditioning, television and mini bar.
In the main building's courtyard, you can find the swimming pool and a fully equipped bar, where any visitor can enjoy the relaxing and refreshing atmosphere he is looking for. During the summer, the breakfast and dining rooms are also located in the courtyard. Our unit also comprises of a traditional winter restaurant and bar, where everyone can try the tasteful traditional Pelion dishes by the fire place in a very cosy environment.
Our other two houses are only around 45 m. from the main building and are located in a wonderful garden filled with roses and trees, offering to every visitor a comfortable stay in a perfect setting.
