The delightful fishing village of Platanias, 60km from the city of Volos is a very picturesque and relaxing part of Pelion. The village is one of immense charm and beauty, and an ideal base for your holidays in the southern area of Pelion.

There is a lovely sandy beach which is ideal during the summer months. In Platanias, there is also a sea excursions that visitors can partake in, and see the Sporades and the coastline of eastern Pelion.
