There are villages all over Pelion, and the village of Portaria is one of the most famous and traditional. Situated at an altitude of 650 meters, and just 13km from the city of Volos, Portaria offers you the ideal destination for your travels to Pelion.

Portaria is the ideal Pelion village to visit any time of the year. During the summer months, it is cooler than other parts of the Peninsula, and in the winter, is it popular due to the nearby ski centre of Agriolefkes.

It is in Portaria that you will find the "Floricas" restaurant, which is where we are located. At our restaurant, we have welcomed many customers through our doors, who have left with complete satisfaction. Our recipes have also been printed in the Thessalia newspaper.

Our restaurant is located just behind the town hall, on the main road in Portaria, that leads to the neighbouring village of Makrinitsa.
