Located in a beautiful part of South Pelion along the coast of the Pagasitic Gulf is the charming village of Horto, a very picturesque coastal town surrounded by lush nature and natural beauty. Horto is a very quiet and peaceful location in Pelion, and is perfect for your relaxing holidays.

Reaching Horto is very easy. Driving outwards from the city of Volos and following the road towards Argalasti, after a 45 minute pleasant drive through olive trees and the crystal blue sea, you will reach your destination.

On your right is the Pagasitic gulf, and at the entrance to the village the yards of the traditional houses full of colors and flowers will welcome you. The time of real care-free time, has arrived and now is the time to totally unwind and relax.

Pelion as well as Horto, is an ideal place for for strolling and trekking, and pleasant activities amongst nature. Trekking along the natural paths, diving or fishing, will fill your holiday time with enjoyment. Relaxing under the trees reading a good book, or a coffee sitting under the plain trees will cool and refresh you.

Kosmidou Apartments is located just 200 meters from the sea and are consist of a two storey house built out of Pelion stone, surrounded by trees, flowers and refreshing shade.

The traditional apartments follow the traditions of Pelion architecture, and have two bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other with two single ones, they both have wardrobes, bedside tables and if required, the possibility of an additional extra bed (after prior communication), fully equipped kitchen, and private bathroom. Our comfortable apartments are ideal for families with children or group of friends.

Sitting in the comfortable veranda or in the flower-covered garden you can enjoy your coffee or read your paper or a book, while on the surrounding lawn your children can play safely and securely. Your car or boat can be parked safely at the spacious parking facility we have under the shade of tall trees.

The choices for beached are plenty. Pelion is home to many small bays with views of small islets covered by lush nature. Most of the beaches can be accessed by foot or car and some by boat. You can enjoy fishing and water sports in crystal clear water. The traditional tavernas next to the sea all offer traditional Pelion mezedes, and fresh fish. The magnificent sunset will finish each day in a explosion of colors and will spread its calm and relaxation to the atmosphere.

At the end of August, at the open theater you can enjoy various events and festivals. Strolling to the village, you will discover small cafes and patisserie shops to enjoy a morning or afternoon coffee and cake. Walking through the paths you will meet small ravines with fresh drinking water from natural springs, old fountains, and millions of flowers that spread their colors and aromas to the environment. All these and more, will fill you with joy and offer you tranquility.
