SELINI TAVERNA - Afissos, Pelion, Greece

Greece is one of the most unique and beautiful countries in the world, and has been blessed with some truly stunning landscapes and places of immense beauty. One such place is that of the Pelion peninsula, location of the eastern side of Greece.

During the summer months you can find some great beaches and crystal blue waters where you can bathe and swim. In the winter, the famous Pelion ski centre is in operation, and here you can enjoy ski and winter sports at the first class facility.

There are many beautiful towns and resorts scattered all across the Pelion penisula. Once of the most popular resorts is that of Milina, located on the coast of the Pagasitic Gulf. Afissos is situated approximately 25km from the city of Volos, and the resort was built in amphitheatrically with large olive groves.

Afissos is a very developed resort and one that caters for tourism. In the resort you can find a great selection of hotels and accommodation, and as well as many places to eat. One such place is the lovely "Selini Taverna", located right next to the blue waters of the Pagasitic Gulf.

The "Selini Tavera" is the ideal place to eat whilst in Afissos, and here you can enjoy a great selection of freshly prepared meals and cuisine. Our chef of many years experience offers a wonderful choice of cuisine including some very tasty local specialities.

Some of the tasty meals you can enjoy at the "Selini Taverna" include classic Greek dishes such as Mousaka, Beef and Onions, as well as some other tasty cuisine such as beef fillet with red wine and mushroom pepper sauce, pork fillet with plumbs, shellfish pasta, chicken served with nuts, chicken with ginger and honey and various other special tastes that you will not find anywhere else. We also have a great range of salads. To compliment your meals we have an excellent selection of wine, including wines from local producers.
