The Pelion peninsula is one of the most charming, picturesque and unique

The village of Lafkos is one of the most famous in Pelion, and has maintained
its charming and traditional style throughout the years. The architecture
here in Lafkos is the perfect example of the traditions and magic of Pelion.
It is here in Lafkos that you will find the traditional "Guest House
of Colours", where we offer a wonderful selection of traditional and
comfortable accommodation.
Our guest house will be your window to the magic and natural beauty of Pelion. A place where dreams are realised, and will always be cherished.
The "Guest House of Colours" is a three storey mansion, which was built in 1861. Since 1960, the house was classed as ruins, and it was not until 2002 that renovation began on this magical structure.
After 5 years of dedicated work and care, the house was saved and transformed into a guest house. In October 2007, it began operation, providing a great selection of quality accommodation.
The name of the house comes from the diversity of its rooms, not just from a colour point of view, but also from an aesthetic point of view. It is actually a conjectural guest house, and actually houses part of the famous art collection of the lawyer Mr Christos Fotos.
This wonderful collection includes painting, engravings and other works of immense beauty, all with reference to the county of Thessaly, and in particular, the prefecture of Magnesia.
The unique and inspiring decoration of the guest house was organised by Mrs Elena Alexiou, who provided a modern touch, combining the tradition with the functionin of a guest house. The rooms are very beautiful and spacious, and as well as being of extreme comfort, offer magnificent views out towards the Pagasitic Gulf and the nearby islets.
A pleasurable stay would not be completed, if not combined with an exceptional breakfast that is prepared by the women who live in Lafkos and who know better than anyone else the Pelion Cuisine.
