THE DOLL'S HOUSE - Vizitsa, Pelion, Greece

Situated at an altitude of 450 meters is the beautiful traditional village of Vizitsa, one of the most magical and picturesque villages in all of the Pelion peninsula. With easy access to the city of Volos, which is just 32km away, Vizitsa offers the perfect destination for your holidays and travel in Pelion.

Vizitsa is an extremely interesting village, and one that has maintained and preserved it's traditional appearance. Wandering around Vizitsa, you will pass by some beautiful traditional mansions, and enjoy unique and inspiring scenery all around.

It is here in Vizitsa that you will find "The Doll's House", where you can enjoy a wonderful selection of quality and comfortable accommodation throughout the year.

A quaint, colourful house with natural light flowing throughout, it is a scaled down version of the local manor houses and is surrounded by a terraced courtyard and small garden spread on two levels. The open plan interior is organized on four levels, all under exposed beams. The house has an amazing view that changes continuously, it is perfect for a couple or four close friends all year round.

On your arrival in Vizitsa you will be met and welcomed by Pipitsa who will make sure that the house is warm and comfortable.

Living Room
Traditionally decorated with a view to die for, this room lends itself to a tranquil lifestyle.

Kitchen
Reach the kitchen from the secret interior doorway or from outside. There you can find fresh local produce including milopita (Pipitsa’s apple pie) - enjoy.

Upstairs Bathroom
Take your shower standing on pebbles selected from the amazing Calamaki beach - a bathroom with a difference.

Lower Sleeping Area
Cosy and comfortable.

Upper Sleeping Area Patari
Climb up a small staircase to the glowing wooden Patari, a traditional Pelion style sleeping area, with a panoramic view.

Outdoors
Choose your outdoor space. You can relax on the wisteria covered veranda with a Pelion stone table and seating, all your senses are engaged with the sounds and sights of nature.

Garden and View
The smells of rosemary and lavender added to the fragrant Pelion roses entice you into the garden to pick fresh grown vegetables or just lose yourself in the blue bay view which will imprint itself on your soul.

Getting to "The Doll’s House" is very easy. You will follow the red road from Volos with the sea on your right, and pass through Agria, Lehonia, Gatzea and Kala Nera.
After Kala Nera you turn left up the mountain towards Milies. You will pass through Milies and after two kilometres arrive in Vizitsa. From the car park, walk towards the church on your left. There is a cobble - stone path after the church. From this path you can see the Doll’s house in front of you.
