Papa Nero is a beautiful sandy beach 56km from Volos and 4km from Mouresi. Here the green of the mountains blends perfectly with the deep blue of the sea.
Along the beach you will find picturesque small fish tavernas, where you can enjoy your tsipouro with fish titbits.
For a good meal you can visit the taverna of "Stathisis", which offers you a stunning view of the beach of Agios Ioannis and the blue of the Aegean. The taverna is a little further out of the village on the way to Mouresi.
For nightlife you can go to the neighbouring village of Agios Ioannis. During the summer season, this area is extremely busy and bustling with tourists and visitors, who can have a great time in the bars and restaurants that are around the village.
