ANEMOESSA TRADITIONAL ROOMS - Milies, Pelion, Greece

The region of Pelion is one of immense natural beauty and charm. It is a perfect combination of mountain and sea, and the landscape and scenery create a truly unique and perfect setting for your holidays and vacations throughout the year. From the snow capped mountains in the winter, to the beautiful sandy beaches in the summer, Pelion is truly a destination of all seasons, and a place where you can enjoy all types of holidays.

Pelion has a large number of villages, towns and resorts scattered all over the peninsula. Each of these has their own charm and beauty, and together, make Pelion such a special place to visit.

One of the most famous villages is that of Milies, located at an altitude of 400 meters and 28km from the city of Volos.

Milies is a village with a history spanning back many years, and is a place with great importance. It was from the church of Pamegiston Taxiarhon ( built in 1741 ) that the revolution against the Turks started.

There are many interesting places to visit in Milies including the old library, where you can see a great exhibit of old books, maps and documents. There is also the famous railway station where you can take a journey on the magical steam train of Pelion - the Moutzouris-Smudgy.

It is in the charming North East part of Milies that you will find "Anemoessa Traditional Rooms", where you can enjoy a wonderful selection of quality and very comfortable accommodation for your holidays in Pelion. The rooms are houses in a traditional style building, decorated with stone and wood - keeping with the traditional style of Pelion.

There are a total of 7 rooms available for our guests. Each of the rooms have their own seperate entrance. Each room is beautifully decorated and furnished, and we are confident that you will find them extremely comfortable. All of our rooms have a fireplace, air condition, autonomous heating, TV, hair dryer, telephone, safe and refrigerator.

Each room has traditional stone tile floors, and with the richly coloured wood used in the furnishing, the rooms all have a great comfortable atmosphere and style. Several of the rooms have a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and some also have a small kitchen.

From "Anemoessa Traditional Rooms", you can easily reach the main square of Milies, as well as venture out and explore some of the beautiful neighbouring villages. If you happen to be in Milies during the summer season, you can enjoy a journey on the steam train, as well as take part in some of the local festivals and celebrations that take place.
