This is a picturesque small village by the sea, and is 54km from Volos. It offers quiet and peaceful holidays.
It's location is in a small gulf, which offers protection from the winds. From here you can see the small island of Kikinthos with its single church, Agia Trianthas.
You will find a lot of fish tavernas with fresh fish, all caught by the local fishermen. If you are planning day trips to either Panagias Island (Palio Trikeri), Skiathos, Skopelos and Aloniso, you will start your journey from here.
On July 17th big festivals take place on Agia Trianthas, and on August 6th the celebration for "The Metamorphosis of Sotira" takes place, with traditional Greek dance and songs. As with the other festivals that take place in Pelion, you will be able to join in with them.
