PALTSI - PELION ( PILIO ) - GREECE
Paltsi is a big hamlet by the sea. It is very peaceful and has the large sandy beach of Agios Konstantinos.
It is 53km from Volos and 13km from the village of Argalasti. You can take a lovely walk by following the path that leads to Lafkos, about two and a half hours.
You will be taken through stunning green scenery and spring waters.
On the way you can visit the monastery of Agios Athanasios, which is a few kilometres before Lafkos. The monastery was built in 1795 by the "Stergios Brothers".
A large festival takes place on September 5th and 6th to celebrate the name day of Agion Taxiaharhon.
