The old mansions, castle houses and picturesque cobble-stoned paths are all calling you to visit. The view of the sea composes beautiful scenery that takes you to another era, and will make you want to stay here forever.

Festivals that take place in this village are a very interesting experience, especially during the Easter period and May 1st.

If you are lucky, you can watch the show of a traditional marriage or engagement. You can enjoy the traditional dance and join in the party, which goes on into the earlier hours of the next morning.

During these festivals and other special occasions, the women of Trikeri continue to dress up in traditional golden coloured clothes, as they have done for generations.

An interesting morning or afternoon can be spent visiting the churches of Agios Athanasios, dated from 1799, and Agia Trianda with wooden sculptured icons and the despotic throne of Napolean that is dated from 1739.

You must also visit the small fishing village of Agia Kyriaki, which is just 4km from Trikeri. Here you can eat fresh fish and seafood with tsipouro at the fish tavernas around the port.
