Lefokastro Pelion

This is a picturesque fishing hamlet on the Pagasitic Gulf, 6km from Argalasti and 34km from Volos. Here you can simply relax and enjoy the beach with the crystal clean water, and the authentic beauty of the scenery, as you sit back and enjoy a nice drink whilst watching the sunset, fading into the horizon.

The road from Lefokastro is a beautiful route through olive groves and small out-of-the-way beaches. It will lead you to the cosmopolitan village of Afissos.

For another day trip you can visit the mountainous village Neohori, which is about 20 minutes by car. Here at the cobble stoned square with the large plain trees you can visit the church of Agios Dimitrios, which was built in 1760.

There are many impressive golden sculptured icons and frescos on the walls by the painter Ioannis Pagonis. A little further out of the village you can see the ruins of a medieval castle.
